Privacy policy

This policy explains how BarronAI LLC, doing business as Barron AI ("Barron AI", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects information. It applies to barronai.io, our phone lines, our text messages, and the AI receptionist services we provide to business clients.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, business name, phone number, email address and anything you tell us in a form, call or text.
Calls to our lines and our clients' lines: calls answered by our assistants are recorded and transcribed. Callers are told at the start of the call that it is recorded, and our assistants identify themselves as AI when asked. We capture the details a caller provides, such as name, callback number, address and the service requested.
Text messages: the content of messages you send to and receive from our numbers, and your opt-in and opt-out status.
Website data: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and working.

How we use information

To respond to your request, schedule appointments and send the confirmations and updates you asked for.
To provide our services to our business clients, including passing a caller's details to the business they called so it can follow up.
To review and improve the quality and accuracy of our assistants.
To meet legal, security and record-keeping obligations.

Text messaging and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or rent mobile numbers or any personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver messages and calls (such as our telephone and messaging carriers), and only as needed to provide the service.

How we share information

With the business you called. If you call or text one of our clients' numbers, your details are shared with that business so it can serve you.
With service providers that host our systems, process calls, transcribe audio, send messages and store records, under obligations to protect the information.
When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, the public or Barron AI.

Retention and security

We keep call records, transcripts and messages only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our obligations, then delete them. We use access controls and reputable providers to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing admin@barronai.io. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
